bookends 2

Well, kids, last week the Bookends writing challenge yielded some interesting results, so we have decided to try it again this week.

Bookends week 2:

  • She liked people who made their own scrapes for themselves before they fell into them, and then got out without being fished for.

  • “Tell me,” he wanted to say, “everything in the whole world.”

    OK, that was a challenge. As long as you continue quoting Swinburne and Woolf I’m going to have to struggle to write Brit-sounding prose – clearly not my strong point.

    I’m always envious of how well-read you are. Of course, while you were reading those giants I was reading Feynmin on physics, Kreyszig’s Advanced Engineering Mathmatics, and Somebody’s Thermodynamics. But then, we all make our choices dont we…
