People

  • RP - Rory Prior, M’s most common grown-up. a.k.a. Mr. Prior, Rory P.
  • Mark – M’s most common kid and his online self, aka Marky
  • M - my late husband
  • Casey – my online self and kid, aka cdm
  • TL - Taylor Lincoln, my most common grown-up, aka Miss Lincoln, the Vampire, etc.
  • The Others – all the people who were inside M and me; sometimes this would also refer to characters we talked about but who were neither of us (e.g. most of the other kids at Home School).
  • RPK - RP’s kid, i.e. M’s son, my stepson
  • Mrs. RP – RP’s mother, my mother-in-law, looks just like him

Concepts

  • tgi - the topic of greatest interest
  • RL - Real Life: play that actually happens, but not real world (e.g. Casey actually gets a spanking)
  • RW - Real World: me, M, the outside life all my friends and family knows (e.g. I go to work)
  • FW - Fantasy World: what’s in the imagination

tgi things

  • THBTNFK - The hairbrush that’s not for kids, so named by Casey because it’s too mean to use on her – for boys like Marky only!
  • That Thing – casey-speak for enemas because that’s such a yucky word
  • unprotected - bare

  • Rain - the cane
  • A dose – of strap oil, i.e. the strap
  • Boating/canoeing - the paddle
  • Uncle Tim – the birch (so called after someone who relished birching “teenage” boys)
  • Applause - hand spanking
  • Kippers - the slipper
